Friday's Rock

Friday's Rock is a relatively easy dive site of Boracay Island. It is usually used for scuba diving training and for beginners due to its conditions. The maximum depth is 18 meters. Here you can spot all the usual reef fishes of the Philippines such as colorful sweetlips, beautiful parrotfishes, triggerfishes as well as blue spotted stingrays resting on the sandy bottom. Friday's Rock is also a great place to learn underwater photography on easy conditions.

It's the most visited diving place in Boracay Island because divers can capture close up shots of emperor fish, red bass, scorpion fish, moray eels and surgeon fishes. Butterfly fishes and batfishes are also part of the biodiversity. At Friday's Rock, you will also find amazingly different kinds of soft and hard coral formations covering the seabed in both, the Friday's Rock and the Friday's Reef diving places.

Usualy, the visibility is good to exellent. Friday's (rock and reef) is also very well known for night dives as it has great nocturnal marine life. Overall, Friday's Rock and it's twin diving spot Friday's Reef, are great diving spots where every diver from all levels, will satisfy their interests and needs. Enjoy this peaceful and relaxing dive!
