South Miniloc dive site, also known as Biet Point is located in the south-east tip of Miniloc Island. The dive site is a reef at a depth of 12 meters with triangular shape, facing Shimizu Island and separated by a channel. This is the highlight of El Nido, a dive over or around the reef with a big variety of sponges, an amazing lettuce coral garden (locally called as cabbage coral), and full of aquatic life due current.
If you like night diving, or if you enjoy watching cephalopods, this is an excellent site for both activities. Home of octopus, squid and cuttlefish, along with a wealth of nudibranchs, crabs, and other small creatures, the site features maximum depth at just 21 meters and offers calm conditions most of the time. Visibility here tends to be between 10 and 20 meters, and as there is plenty to see in shallow water, the site is suitable for all divers. At night, look for big spanish dancers, and take time to look closely at the soft coral as it "blooms" to feed.
