Pandan Island is a small remote island in the South China Sea at only two kilometers offshore Sablayan on the west coast of Mindoro Occidental. The island is surrounded with nice stretches of white sanded beaches, lush tropical forest, great rock formations such as Spanish Nose and an excellent although simple resort named North Pandan Island Resort.

Its temperate waters and bright white sand offer excellent conditions for snorkeling and attract marine life, especially turtles are common. There are numerous beautiful dive sites here in Pandan Island with depths ranging from 2 to 20 meters, which is ideal for beginners. Wide varieties of marine life, from colorful corals to small reef fish and larger pelagic can be found here.
