One of the places that you must see in Dapitan is the Rizal Shrine. Replicas of Jose Rizal’s houses which he built may be seen in this place. Other memorabilia of the great Filipino hero are also featured in the shrine which may be found in Talisay. You can ride a tricycle anywhere in Dapitan and the driver can easily drop you off Rizal Shrine, that’s how popular this tourist spot is.

Another place of interest in Dapitan is the Dakak Park Beach Resort. Located at Taguilon, this famous beach resort is just a few minutes away from Rizal Shrine. No need to go to Boracay if you are seeking for a white sand beach because Dakak will certainly wow you with its powder-like shore. You can enjoy various water activities on the resort such as kayaking, swimming, sailing, jetskiing, fishing, diving, boating, and snorkeling. Other activities that you may want to try are trekking, horseback riding, billiards, bowling, archery, tennis, and golfing.

About 20 minutes away from Dakak Park Beach Resort is the Gloria de Dapitan. This tourist destination is most visited both by locals and tourists because of the countless fun activities that can be done in the area. Fondly called by many as the “New Dapitan”, Gloria de Dapitan features a top class gym, bowling alley, coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, bars, and computer game arcade. Also inside the complex are the Gloria Fantasyland and the Galleria de Dapitan.
