Witness everlasting love up close and personal as you adore this promising new landmark in Cebu with its majestic Roman inspired architectural design.
Slated to have its final touches this year, the Temple of Leah, located atop the mountains of Busay, Cebu City, will definitely add a lot to the city's already impressive tourism scene.
The temple comes with a very interesting and touching story. Because of his undying love for his wife, Teodorico Adarna, grandfather of celebrity Ellen Adarna, decided to erect this “sacred” temple last 2012 as a tribute to his loving wife, Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. As stated in the temple’s FB page: “This Temple was constructed in the year 2012 A.D as a symbol of my undying love for her and my ceaseless devotion to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna.”
The temple’s intricate designs having pristine replica of Roman styled edifice and sculptures surely is a reflection of the undying love and commitment of Ellen Adarna’s lolo to her lola/wawa. "People have been visiting my grandmother's museum. My grandfather, father and brother built and designed this for her. (She loves Greek mythology) stuff. She told us we can't sell her collections or else she'll come back and haunt us. So instead we placed it all there. Miss you, wa. Always and forever" says Ellen on her IG account.
The temple also houses an art gallery and a museum for your appreciation. All are great collections of Mrs. Leah Villa Albino-Adarna.
A visit to “Temple of Leah” also gives you a perfect view of Cebu, while bringing you a touch of Roma, Italia.
