Sinauna

The Sinauna are found in Sta. Inez in Rizal and General Nakar in Quezon (CALABARZON Region), and in a few places in Aurora (Central Luzon). Their language has a 73% lexical similarity with Filipino, but it is now highly endangered.

This ethnic group is also known as Agta Remontado and Hatang-Kayey. Marriage is prearranged by the parents and happens at a very young age. Note that Sinaunas have no religion, but they believe in a high being who created everything.
