Ingredients: 1 whole tilapia, cooked (see note at the bottom)4 cloves garlic, finely minced1 medium onions, chopped3 tomatoes, chopped3/4 cup water1 egg1 tbsp. fish sauce (patis)1 tbsp. cooking oil Process:In a medium frying pan, heat the oil and sauté the garlic and onion.Once the garlic and onions have caramelized (turned golden brown), add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.Add the water and fish sauce and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.Once the sauce is simmering, add the egg and stir to incorporate the egg into the mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.The heat will make most of the water evaporate and you can serve it as topping on the fish.Serves 3-4 Notes:
