The Women Behind the Bataan Legacy Project
With all the horrific incidents of torture and death associated with it, the Bataan Death March also sealed the friendship between the Filipinos and Americans during World War II. The Bataan Death March is on its 75th anniversary this April 9, a reminder of the time that approximately 70,000 American and Filipino servicemen were forced to march from the southern end of the Bataan Peninsula to Camp O’Donnell in Nueva Ecija, a span of more than 60 miles in 1942.

Corregidor Island: A Legacy of War
Roiling thuds from warship mortars, swishing sounds from fighter planes, the wailings and myriads of deaths probably depict the actual scene of blood-spattered battle in summer of 1942.
