A mum has been left speechless after family photos taken 10 years ago in Wales were discovered on the other side of the world. Sharon Worgan, 43, from Conwy County, had no clue they even existed until they were posted on Reddit. The Minolta camera was discovered by Vince Masauding, who lives 6,500 miles away in Davao City in the Philippines, in a thrift shop with the roll film still inside, and he posted the photos online.

One can never hear it, they say, in everyday speech. On the other hand, the same speakers whose parents were more or less educated in the old Hispanized orthography, or later in American English, do in fact use the letter F in pronouncing surnames like Fernandez or first names like Fidel.
